  1. Who can enter? The New York Lottery ULTIMATE TAILGATE PARTY Sweepstakes is open to any holder of a valid New York Lottery POWERBALL draw game ticket containing wagers totaling $10 or more purchased during the promotion period between November 1, 2013 and February 3, 2014. A person must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
  2. Method of Entry: To enter the New York Lottery ULTIMATE TAILGATE PARTY Sweepstakes, go to nylotterysweeps.com and click on the ULTIMATE TAILGATE PARTY Sweepstakes button. A player must register to enter and complete the entry form including the ticket number from any valid New York Lottery $10 or more POWERBALL ticket. For each unique ticket number entered from a $10 or more POWERBALL ticket, a player will receive one entry into the drawing. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST on February 3, 2014. Entries received on or before the entry deadline for each drawing will not be eligible for or carried over to the next drawing. Entries are not valid for any other promotional offers. Each entrant may win only one ULTIMATE TAILGATE PARTY Grand Prize trip for the entire sweepstakes.
  3. Drawings: Three random drawings will be held from all eligible entries on or about the following dates:

    Drawing 1 - December 3, 2013; entry deadline 11:59 p.m. (EST) on December 2, 2013
    Drawing 2 - January 7, 2014; entry deadline 11:59 p.m. (EST) on January 6, 2014
    Drawing 3 - February 4, 2014; entry deadline 11:59 p.m. (EST) on February 3, 2014

    To award the following prizes:

    PRIZES FOR ULTIMATE TAILGATE PARTY SWEEPSTAKES NUMBER AWARDED PER DRAWING
    28 GRAND PRIZES - Trip to Canton, Ohio for a special Pro Football Hall of Fame Experience, 5 day/4 night trip with airfare and hotel accommodations for winner and 3 guests, all transfers/transportation at destination, $500 spending money, and a chance to win additional prizes (ARV $15,000) DRAW 1 & 2 - 9
    DRAW 3 - 10

    All entries shall be subject to verification by the New York State Gaming Commission.

    The Grand Prize Trip does not include: mileage, insurance, gratuities, meals, parking fees, departure fees, baggage fees, alcoholic beverages (other than those served without charge at any reception and/or party), any items not expressly specified and personal expenses such as telephone calls, valet service, laundry and the like, as well as revision or cancellation fees which may be charged by the hotel, or other suppliers. Each Grand Prize Trip winner ("Prizewinner"), designee, or guest must have a valid credit card or shall be required to post cash deposit for incidentals to check into the hotel.

    The Grand Prize Trip includes an evening at the Ultimate Tailgate Party to be attended by the Prizewinners and their guests. During the Ultimate Tailgate Party, each Prizewinner will have an opportunity to participate in one or two cash prize events to win additional prizes.

    Unless otherwise specified by the New York State Gaming Commission, if the Prizewinner fails to attend the trip or fails to arrive at the International Expo for his or her scheduled participation in the cash prize events at the Ultimate Tailgate Party, a proxy may be chosen to participate in the cash prize events for the absent winner and any prize won as a result of such proxy's participation in the cash prize events may be awarded to the absent winner.

    Each Prizewinner shall have until March 15, 2014 to schedule his or her trip, which shall take place in May, 2014 (date to be announced), unless rescheduled due to Force Majeure or change in final trip schedule.

  4. Sweepstakes subject to applicable laws and regulations. Taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. No transfer, substitution or cash value of prizes is permitted. Any prize or prize notification returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected. A selected winner who is contacted and fails to provide all information requested (e.g. age verification, address verification, signed publicity/liability release and affidavit as to identity, social security number, etc.) in a timely fashion will forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected. Prizes are not for resale, cannot be redeemed for cash, are not transferable or exchangeable without the express written consent of the New York State Gaming Commission, and cannot be used in conjunction with any discount, premium or rebate offer. New State York Gaming Commission reserves the right to substitute any of the prizes with a prize of equal or greater value if a prize is unavailable. By acceptance of a prize or by participating in any Ultimate Tailgate Party Sweepstakes related event, each winner and guest agrees that the New York State Gaming Commission, as Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies, GTECH Corporation, Scientific Games International Inc. and MDI Entertainment, LLC may use his or her name, and/or likeness for purposes of advertising or trade without further compensation. Odds of winning a prize are based on the number of entries received. By entering, each entrant agrees at all times to defend, indemnify, release and hold harmless the New York State Gaming Commission, as Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies, GTECH Corporation, Scientific Games International Inc. and MDI Entertainment, LLC from and against any and all claims, actions, liabilities, injuries, death, accidents, losses or damages of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from any and all activity related to entering and/or participating in this Sweepstakes or from the acceptance or use of any prize. Each winner and guest agrees that the New York State Gaming Commission and its advertising and promotion agencies, GTECH Corporation, Scientific Games International Inc. and MDI Entertainment, LLC agents and employees shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participation in this drawing or any Ultimate Tailgate Party Sweepstakes related event or from acceptance or use of any prize awarded.

    Any entry including information from a New York Lottery ticket that is mechanically reproduced, altered, mutilated, affected by any printing or other error, tampered with in any way, or not entered as specified above is ineligible. The New York State Gaming Commission, its advertising and promotion agencies, GTECH Corporation, Scientific Games International, Inc. and MDI Entertainment, LLC, will not be responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries.

    If any discrepancy should exist between these Official Rules and any promotional material describing this Sweepstakes, these Official Rules shall govern.

  5. Employees of the New York State Gaming Commission, as well as employees and agents of DDB Worldwide, GTECH Corporation, Scientific Games International Inc., MDI Entertainment, LLC and family members living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter this Sweepstakes or claim a prize. Offer void where prohibited or restricted.

  6. If, for any reason, the New York Lottery ULTIMATE TAILGATE PARTY Sweepstakes is not completed as planned due to, without limitation, errors in these Official Rules or advertising for this Sweepstakes, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, human error or any other cause beyond the control of the New York State Gaming Commission that, in the sole judgment of the New York State Gaming Commission, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the New York State Gaming Commission reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. If more prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded due to a printing, production or other error, the intended prize or prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified and validated entries.

  7. PERSONAL INFORMATION NOTICE: The New York State Gaming Commission requires the collection of an entrant's personal information to comply with the Internal Revenue Code and the New York Tax Law income reporting and any applicable tax withholding requirements and under the authority of New York Tax Law Section 1604 to announce Lottery prize awards. If an entrant does not provide all or any part of the required personal information, the entry may not be processed, the claim might be denied and the entrant might not be awarded a prize.   8. Winners List: For the names of winners, available at the conclusion of the offer visit nylotterysweeps.com page. Winner's list will be posted for at least one month after final drawing date.
